Narrative:
Approximately 30 mins prior to pushback; I wrote up a worn tire for maintenance to check. Approximately 5 mins prior to push; our current maintenance release printed up showing that the tire had been deferred. Upon arrival in ZZZ; we were advised that the tire was not approved for further flight and that it should have not been deferred in ZZZ1 but should have been replaced before departure. Supplemental information from acn 806749: upon arrival; we were advised tire was no longer good to continue per maintenance and in fact should not have been deferred in ZZZ1.
