Narrative:
At gate in ZZZ; received maintenance release with numerous inbound write-ups including air data reference #1 inoperative. Troubleshooting led to an inoperative phc #1. Maintenance cleared adr #1 and deferred phc #1. I was unable to reach ZZZ maintenance on phone or radio; so I called maintenance control; spoke with mr X. He helped me understand the 3 inbound write-ups: 1) aft cargo heat fault; 2) adr #1 inoperative; 3) bscu #1 fault and the 2 deferrals -- center tank boost pump inoperative; and phc #1 inoperative. I asked for the MEL card. As I began to comply with the flight crew actions required by the MEL card; this led to more questions and I asked ZZZ line maintenance to come to the cockpit. Mechanic X and mechanic Y came and met me in the jetway. I asked them to go through the maintenance release item by item with me so I could understand the write-up and what actions they took to clear it. I asked them if all the maintenance actions were completed for the deferral of the phc #1? They said yes. I asked again; 'are you sure?

Title: AN OUTBOUND AIRBUS A320 PILOT CONCERNED WITH THE NUMEROUS WRITE-UPS AND DEFERRALS; INCLUDING ADR #1; BSCU FAULT AND PROBE HEAT COMPUTER (PHC) INOP; REQUESTS ANOTHER MECHANIC; AFTER TWO MECHANICS FAIL TO FOLLOW PROCEDURES PRIOR TO DEFERRING THE PHC #1.
Narrative: AT GATE IN ZZZ; RECEIVED MAINT RELEASE WITH NUMEROUS INBOUND WRITE-UPS INCLUDING AIR DATA REF #1 INOP. TROUBLESHOOTING LED TO AN INOP PHC #1. MAINT CLRED ADR #1 AND DEFERRED PHC #1. I WAS UNABLE TO REACH ZZZ MAINT ON PHONE OR RADIO; SO I CALLED MAINT CTL; SPOKE WITH MR X. HE HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THE 3 INBOUND WRITE-UPS: 1) AFT CARGO HEAT FAULT; 2) ADR #1 INOP; 3) BSCU #1 FAULT AND THE 2 DEFERRALS -- CTR TANK BOOST PUMP INOP; AND PHC #1 INOP. I ASKED FOR THE MEL CARD. AS I BEGAN TO COMPLY WITH THE FLT CREW ACTIONS REQUIRED BY THE MEL CARD; THIS LED TO MORE QUESTIONS AND I ASKED ZZZ LINE MAINT TO COME TO THE COCKPIT. MECH X AND MECH Y CAME AND MET ME IN THE JETWAY. I ASKED THEM TO GO THROUGH THE MAINT RELEASE ITEM BY ITEM WITH ME SO I COULD UNDERSTAND THE WRITE-UP AND WHAT ACTIONS THEY TOOK TO CLEAR IT. I ASKED THEM IF ALL THE MAINT ACTIONS WERE COMPLETED FOR THE DEFERRAL OF THE PHC #1? THEY SAID YES. I ASKED AGAIN; 'ARE YOU SURE?
