Narrative:

We departed ZZZ with an intended destination of ZZZ1. In a descent to FL370; the amber windshield heat inoperative right cas message illuminated for 5 seconds; extinguished for 5 seconds; then illuminated again. The sic began the checklist for the associated malfunction. Approximately 15 seconds later the copilot's windshield cracked. The crew oxygen masks were donned. The passenger masks were dropped. The sic declared an emergency. The PIC initiated an emergency descent in VMC conditions to 10000 ft then diverted to ZZZ2. A visual approach was conducted. The aircraft landed normally and taxied to FBO with no further damage and no injuries.

Title: A CE680 FLT CREW EXPERIENCED A CRACKED WINDSHIELD DESCENDING OUT OF 41000 FT. THEY DECLARED AN EMERGENCY; INITIATED AN EMERGENCY DESCENT; AND DIVERTED TO THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT.

THE SIC BEGAN THE CHKLIST FOR THE ASSOCIATED MALFUNCTION. APPROX 15 SECONDS LATER THE COPLT'S WINDSHIELD CRACKED. THE CREW OXYGEN MASKS WERE DONNED. THE PAX MASKS WERE DROPPED. THE SIC DECLARED AN EMER. THE PIC INITIATED AN EMER DSCNT IN VMC CONDITIONS TO 10000 FT THEN DIVERTED TO ZZZ2. A VISUAL APCH WAS CONDUCTED. THE ACFT LANDED NORMALLY AND TAXIED TO FBO WITH NO FURTHER DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES.
