Narrative:

At 3400 ft on approach at ZZZ; the right main gear failed to extend with the gear handle. We told ZZZ approach that we had a gear problem and needed to break off the approach. We were cleared to 3000 ft and vectored to the west and then south. We ran the checklist which led us to extend the gear manually with the handles. The gear indicated down and locked; we were vectored for the ILS and landed normally.
