Narrative:
After briefing SID -- sic was flying teterboro five departure runway 24 from teb. Sic initially climbed to 1500 ft MSL then initiated turn to heading 280. At approximately 3.0 DME sic initiated climb to 2000 ft MSL. Upon realization of early climb -- PIC commanded a return to 1500 ft MSL per published procedures. Sic initially climbed only 200 ft MSL past 1500 ft MSL before commencing return to 1500 ft MSL. New york center then authorized climb to 8000 ft MSL prior to the published 4.5 DME fix in which the 2000 ft MSL climb would have been initiated. Due to the low altitude restrictions on this particular departure -- it would be advisable to publish specific aircraft category speed restrictions to reduce the likelihood of errors; specifically altitude deviations.

Title: AN LR35 CLIMBED THROUGH THE PUBLISHED ALTITUDE RESTRICTION OF 1500 FT DEPARTING TEB. THEY CAUGHT THE ERROR AND CORRECTED BACK TO CHARTED ALTITUDE.
Narrative: AFTER BRIEFING SID -- SIC WAS FLYING TETERBORO FIVE DEPARTURE RWY 24 FROM TEB.
