Narrative:
A few months ago air carrier X began to use 4 numbers to identify their flights into and out of ZZZ. Since then we have experienced multiple similar sounding call signs. This could lead to an aircraft incident or accident. I was working the X position and had two aircraft on final with similar sounding call signs.
