Narrative:
Took off from ZZZ. Everything was normal until we smelled an odor in the climb out phase of flight (probably about 7-10 mins after takeoff). The odor came and went within a few seconds. The PF (captain) believed he idented the smell as lint in the avionics filter. Having had electrical issues causing smoke in the past; I agreed this was not an electrical fire or short; and that per company policy it was safe to continue to our destination. The leg was very short to begin with; and we were on the ground within 30 mins of smelling the odor. I believe using a different carpet in the plane could prevent this; and/or inform more pilots about this.

Title: A DA-2000 FLIGHT CREW NOTICED AN ODOR SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF THAT SMELLED LIKE LINT. THEY DECIDED THE ODOR WAS PROBABLY NOT SERIOUS AND CONTINUED THE SHORT FLIGHT.
