Narrative:
On departure from teb (the teb 5 departure) we leveled off at 1500 ft MSL. The controller reported us 3-400 ft high. Altimeters were not adjusted to current setting at teb which led to the discrepancy. We will add a flight instrument check in the taxi checklist.

Title: A HAWKER 800XP CLBED ABOVE THE 1500 FT RESTR ON THE TEB DEP BECAUSE THEIR ALTIMETERS WERE NOT PROPERLY SET.
Narrative: ON DEP FROM TEB (THE TEB 5 DEP) WE LEVELED OFF AT 1500 FT MSL. THE CTLR RPTED US 3-400 FT HIGH. ALTIMETERS WERE NOT ADJUSTED TO CURRENT SETTING AT TEB WHICH LED TO THE DISCREPANCY. WE WILL ADD A FLT INSTRUMENT CHK IN THE TAXI CHKLIST.
