Narrative:
Aircraft #1 advised cracked windshield; and needed a descent. (Is level at FL350 when windshield cracks) I advised aircraft #1 of traffic (aircraft #2) at 11 O'clock position and 4 mi. I advise to expect lower when clear. I advise aircraft #1 that if he needs to start his descent on his own; then to turn right to a heading XXX (I do not remember the heading) to miss the traffic. I coordinate with the controller beneath me who owns FL340. I observe aircraft #1 descending on his own. Conflict alert activates displaying 5.X mi (5.1 mi; I do not remember the exact amount).

Narrative: ACFT #1 ADVISED CRACKED WINDSHIELD; AND NEEDED A DSCNT. (IS LEVEL AT FL350 WHEN WINDSHIELD CRACKS) I ADVISED ACFT #1 OF TFC (ACFT #2) AT 11 O'CLOCK POS AND 4 MI. I ADVISE TO EXPECT LOWER WHEN CLR. I ADVISE ACFT #1 THAT IF HE NEEDS TO START HIS DSCNT ON HIS OWN; THEN TO TURN R TO A HDG XXX (I DO NOT REMEMBER THE HDG) TO MISS THE TFC. I COORDINATE WITH THE CTLR BENEATH ME WHO OWNS FL340. I OBSERVE ACFT #1 DSNDING ON HIS OWN. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATES DISPLAYING 5.X MI (5.1 MI; I DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT AMOUNT).
