Narrative:

On departure to sfo we were climbing out of slc on heading 290 degrees to 8000'. We were then clrd to 11000' with autoplt engaged. Traffic was called at 12000' at 12 O'clock. Autoplt does not have automatic level off and we exceeded 11000' by 300' before we realized that this autoplt does not automatically level off. Most of the planes in fleet do have automatic level off capability. Only 5 airplanes in fleet do not. When you continually change aircraft. Sometimes you forget what you have to work with.
