Narrative:

It was brought to my attention when aircraft X arrived in ZZZ; #2 oil cap was missing. ZZZ line mechanic was accomplishing routine overnight oil servicing. I was notified by ZZZ safety representative oil cap being replaced by ZZZ routine overnight line maintenance. After I was notified that oil cap was missing; I remember that the chain was broken. I set the oil cap down when I svced the oil and apparently forgot to install oil cap. I was servicing several aircraft at that time. I was rushed and felt pressured to work many aircraft at the same time. Next time I will try not to feel so pressured when I have several aircraft to service and take more time. And doublechk my work.
