Narrative:
While executing a visual into ZZZ; when selecting flaps to the 30 degree position we received a flaps fail amber cas message. We informed ATC and executed a go around at 1800 ft AGL and accomplished the QRH procedure. I then declared an emergency and elected to land in ZZZ. We had 3 crew and 0 passenger on board. We had an uneventful landing in flaps at the 30 degree position. We exited the runway and proceeded to the gate. Bombardier should fix their product!
