Narrative:
Received clearance to taxi out of FBO to runway 32 via taxiway lima and to hold short of runway 32 on lima. While taxing out to the runway; the runway identifier sign was blocked by long grass and bushes. Also the hold short lines were faded. We crossed over the hold short lines by about 10 ft and came to a stop before the runway. We asked ground control if we had indeed passed the hold short lines. Ground control responded by saying 'yes' and to make a 180 degree turn and hold short of runway 32 at lima. Ground control inquired why we had crossed the hold short line and we replied that the signage was blocked by bushes and long grass. Also the taxi and runway markings were very faded and difficult to see. Ground control then responded by saying that they would take care of it. There was no conflict with any other aircraft and we were never asked to make contact with anyone.
