Narrative:
I filed an ADIZ flight plan before departing; got a squawk code; departed and flew northeast from hef. Tower handed me off to potomac approach and they advised me to stay clear of class B airspace. I flew at 1200 ft to stay below the class B airspace; and the next controller asked if I had been told to stay clear of class B airspace; and I said I had been and was below the airspace at 1200 ft. He informed me I was in the class B airspace that there was no floor. I then flew north toward wooly gate and cleared the ADIZ at wooly. Controller asked me to call when on the ground. I thought I had followed all the ADIZ procedures and would be below the class B airspace but apparently the VFR corridor east of dulles doesn't exist; even though it was on the current sectional. Even though I had taken the FAA online dc ADIZ course 1 month prior; I was unaware of the VFR corridor being eliminated. I flew into hef IFR but; because I had been vectored so far west; I thought I'd save time departing VFR -- big mistake!

I THOUGHT I HAD FOLLOWED ALL THE ADIZ PROCS AND WOULD BE BELOW THE CLASS B AIRSPACE BUT APPARENTLY THE VFR CORRIDOR E OF DULLES DOESN'T EXIST; EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON THE CURRENT SECTIONAL. EVEN THOUGH I HAD TAKEN THE FAA ONLINE DC ADIZ COURSE 1 MONTH PRIOR; I WAS UNAWARE OF THE VFR CORRIDOR BEING ELIMINATED. I FLEW INTO HEF IFR BUT; BECAUSE I HAD BEEN VECTORED SO FAR W; I THOUGHT I'D SAVE TIME DEPARTING VFR -- BIG MISTAKE!
