Narrative:
I was cruising level about 3000' perpendicular to the ILS 30L approach course of san jose. An medium large transport passed over top. His wheels were up. Snap estimate is that he took no evasive action. I took no evasive action because it was over quickly. I was remiss for crossing the ILS west/O more looking. The medium large transport was hidden by my high left wing and my attention was more to the ground than the in-flight conditions. No rules were broken. I was squawking 1200 and on altitude so bay approach may have warned the medium large transport of my position. I suspect my position could have been hidden by the cockpit walls of the medium large transport since I was below and to the right for the medium large transport copilot. The medium large transport was obviously on the ILS to san jose. This incident is an example of why an arsa should be in placed around san jose airport. More attention will be exercised when flying in the vicinity of the ILS final approach course until an arsa is in place.

Title: CLOSE PROX BETWEEN VFR SMA AND IFR ACR ON ILS APCH, DUE IN PART, TO PLT VISION BEING OBSTRUCTED BY HIGH WING ACFT DESIGN.
Narrative: I WAS CRUISING LEVEL ABOUT 3000' PERPENDICULAR TO THE ILS 30L APCH COURSE OF SAN JOSE. AN MLG PASSED OVER TOP. HIS WHEELS WERE UP. SNAP ESTIMATE IS THAT HE TOOK NO EVASIVE ACTION. I TOOK NO EVASIVE ACTION BECAUSE IT WAS OVER QUICKLY. I WAS REMISS FOR XING THE ILS W/O MORE LOOKING. THE MLG WAS HIDDEN BY MY HIGH LEFT WING AND MY ATTN WAS MORE TO THE GND THAN THE INFLT CONDITIONS. NO RULES WERE BROKEN. I WAS SQUAWKING 1200 AND ON ALT SO BAY APCH MAY HAVE WARNED THE MLG OF MY POS. I SUSPECT MY POS COULD HAVE BEEN HIDDEN BY THE COCKPIT WALLS OF THE MLG SINCE I WAS BELOW AND TO THE RIGHT FOR THE MLG COPLT. THE MLG WAS OBVIOUSLY ON THE ILS TO SAN JOSE. THIS INCIDENT IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHY AN ARSA SHOULD BE IN PLACED AROUND SAN JOSE ARPT. MORE ATTN WILL BE EXERCISED WHEN FLYING IN THE VICINITY OF THE ILS FINAL APCH COURSE UNTIL AN ARSA IS IN PLACE.
