Narrative:
I was parking the plane when I noticed the poles are only about 2 ft away from the ramp . I took my time and used differential braking to turn; but I still struck the wing tip. The school sent out a mechanic to imm where I was stuck and deemed the plane airworthy. The pane was flown back and is being used on the rental line until the mechanic gets back next week and can re-skin that piece of the wing. Something should be done about those poles being so close to the ramp where the planes park. The crew there said it happens about every week. Some signs should be hung or maybe the poles even moved back. The airport is imm.
