Narrative:
While approaching the end of runway 16L at sea; raas piped up telling us we were approaching the end of the runway just as the tower was clearing us across. ATC communications were unintelligible due to raas covering it up. We asked for another clearance so we both understood what the tower was saying. Deactivate raas now!
Original NASA ASRS Text
