Narrative:
Early morning; we landed in poor visibility. Airport was calling 600/600/700 for runway 16C. We landed and taxied clear with no problem. South bound on taxiway B we were instructed to taxi to spot 55. We had our smgcs chart for low visibility available. When we hit spot 6 on the ground we turned and followed the green lights to our right as our chart showed. We were surprised to find spot 66 instead of 55 in front of us. We called ramp and let them know the error. After review; on a clear day -- it is apparent that the markings on the smgcs charts are misleading if followed in poor weather. Recommend reviewing markings with sea airport manager and change charts or mark differently.
