Narrative:
Pilot of small aircraft X, while flying a highspeed irregular pattern, overtook and nearly collided with our small aircraft Y while we were on short final. We had the right of way. He stated he was wrong. He knew it. My observation was the only collision avoidance he was using was the radio.

Title: SMA X ON FINAL APCH WAS OVERTAKEN BY SMA Y. NMAC RESULTED.
Narrative: PLT OF SMA X, WHILE FLYING A HIGHSPEED IRREGULAR PATTERN, OVERTOOK AND NEARLY COLLIDED WITH OUR SMA Y WHILE WE WERE ON SHORT FINAL. WE HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY. HE STATED HE WAS WRONG. HE KNEW IT. MY OBSERVATION WAS THE ONLY COLLISION AVOIDANCE HE WAS USING WAS THE RADIO.
