GPWS was set off during the approach and landing phase of the flight. As per our emergency procedures; we evaluated the flight path with reference to terrain and maneuvered the airplane accordingly. We were stable by 500 ft as per company policy.

Title: A B1900 flight crew got a GPWS warning on approach and maneuvered to silence the alarm.
