Narrative:
On givmi 3Q departure from 8L eddm just after LNAV engaged at 50 ft AGL; the flight director commanded a slight left turn that paralled the runway approx 1/2 mile to the left; then a right turn back to the original course. Not having flown that departure before; we were not sure if the flight director was commanding the correct procedure or not until tower commented that he noticed that we made a left turn off of the SID and then a right turn back on course. We confirmed with him that we did in fact have the givmi 3Q departure installed and were following the flight director commands. He said we were not the first aircraft to do this and we should report it to our company.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that during the most recent eddm departure the microphone six echo (miq 6E) procedure was flown with exactly the same left track deviation commanded. This time the crew used the heading select navigation mode and flew through the flight director to remain on track. The reporter did not report this event to his air carrier maintenance. He believes that a navigation database error may be the cause because this event occurred while flying a different aircraft.

Title: A B777 departed MUC (EDDM) on the GIVMI 3Q. After autopilot engagement the aircraft made a left turn off track then a right turn back on the track. The controller commented that other aircraft had made the same deviation also.
