Narrative:
I removed crew oxygen bottle and serviced it. I reinstalled the crew oxygen bottle and opened the valve to what I believed was full open and then back clockwise 1/4 turn. I did not count the turns on the valve. I leak checked and safetied the valve open. I ran upstairs to verify that the crew oxygen pressure on P-5 overhead panel was correct. When I tested the crew oxygen; I did not look up to see if it dropped. Supplemental information from acn 831405: crew oxygen bottle was removed; serviced; and reinstalled by my work partner. Person #1 informed me he was done with the bottle installation and that it tested good. I entered the cockpit and witnessed that the crew oxygen was indicating full bottle pressure. I did not perform the test to ensure the bottle was opened per maintenance procedures.
