Narrative:
On baret arrival into san; descended to 12;000 ft MSL. A glider heading east went by us at approximately 200-300 ft and 500 ft to the left of our path heading eastbound. Queried ZLA and controller reported she had no one in that area. Assume the glider had no transponder. I did not deviate my flight path after I saw the glider because he was out of our way. Landed in san with no problems. Supplemental information from acn 833298: I saw a glider pass 300-500 ft off of our left side and about 200-300 ft above us.
