Narrative:
While participating in a festival balloon glow; my tie off harness broke sending the balloon instantly into the air. At that time I determined the safest cause of action was to fly the balloon out of the area to the closest safe landing. I flew for approximately 6-8 minutes and landed safely.

Title: A balloon's tie off harness broke allowing the balloon to unexpectedly takeoff. The pilot flew to an off site area to find a safe landing location.
Narrative: While participating in a festival balloon glow; my tie off harness broke sending the balloon instantly into the air. At that time I determined the safest cause of action was to fly the balloon out of the area to the closest safe landing. I flew for approximately 6-8 minutes and landed safely.
