Narrative:
Gate arrival had luggage carrier dollies parked outside the safe red line. One blue van also parked in the way of no.1 pod. Parking personnel sitting inside company vehicle expecting our arrival did nothing to prep and clear ramp area to receive aircraft. Forced to stop aircraft 2 times to request that ramp be cleared of obstructions. Finally one last abrupt stop short of gate as we were cut off by a white van right to left under nose of aircraft short of gate stop mark.
