Narrative:
While on approach; when selecting flaps; the T/ east flap disagree annunciation appeared on EICAS. We were initially advised by tower we were cleared to land; lahso; to hold short of intersecting runway. We ultimately advised the tower; as an added precaution; that we requested full length; not lahso: it was approved. Uneventful landing. Landing distance: determined appropriate distances available; with dry runway; headwind; full length. We wrote-up the flaps as appropriate. Maintenance advised.
