Narrative:
Due to repeated blade damage having been found during various stages of build (overhaul of engine); I inspected some new (in the box) 8th stage blades and found leading edge damage beyond pw-2000 manual limits. This damage is a small nick or imperfection not removed during manufacture. This has been problematic in that during post test cell borescope this type of damage has been showing up as FOD!!! And leading to dis-assembly and repair.
