Narrative:
Upon application of takeoff power the left engine developed power sooner than the right engine. Pilot lost heading control; slid to the right side of the runway into a sloping ditch. The aircraft then did a slow-speed ground loop. This resulted in damage to the main landing gear; tail landing gear; minor skin damage to the vertical stabilizer and left wingtip.

Title: Beechcraft D18 suffered a runway excursion and minor damage when the engines did not develop power at the same rate on takeoff.
Narrative: Upon application of takeoff power the left engine developed power sooner than the right engine. Pilot lost heading control; slid to the right side of the runway into a sloping ditch.
