Aircraft X was eastbound on vector heading 070 for sequencing into bfi. Aircraft Y was northbound on vector heading 340 for sequencing into sea. Evasive action was instigated by ATC to vector aircraft X north and aircraft Y east to maintain approved separation.

Title: S46 Controller described a traffic conflict at 7000 FT while vectoring two aircraft; reporter indicated their intervention prevented an operational error.
Narrative: Aircraft X was eastbound on vector heading 070 for sequencing into BFI. Aircraft Y was northbound on vector heading 340 for sequencing into SEA. Evasive action was instigated by ATC to vector Aircraft X north and Aircraft Y east to maintain approved separation.
