Narrative:

During visual approach into 14R; approach sequenced a 737 in front of us for a short visual approach. It seems like it is not well known; that when they do this you can expect a large wake; just thought I'd like share this experience. Even though it was a 737 it was that perpendicular wake that tends to amplify the turbulence greater than I've ever experienced--even behind heavy aircraft.
