Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff on runway 13. The tower told us that there was traffic on downwind for runway 17. We did not have the traffic in sight, but departed anyway. At approximately 700' we both saw the small transport pass off our nose from right to left 100' higher than we were. There was no evasive action taken on our part (no time) and we continued west/O further incident.
