Narrative:
Propeller strike on runway. While practicing soft field takeoffs; as I rolled down the runway; the plane was slightly left of the centerline. Once I was airborne; I tried to remain in ground effect by lowering the nose. When I lowered the nose; the nose wheel hit the runway. At this point my left wing was high and my right wing was low and I was skidding to the left side of the runway. At that point; the propeller struck the runway. I careened to the left and I landed in a grass field between the runway and the taxiway.
