Narrative:

The FMC database shows all altitudes from luvyn to hunda with an a after the altitude but the 25L ILS approach plate shows the same altitudes as hard altitudes without the above so I was following the VNAV path which kept me about 300 to 400 ft above the chart number so when I found the discrepancy near hunda I still don't know if I violated the altitudes since I don't know whether the FMC database or the 25L approach chart is correct.

Title: A B777 Captain reported that his LAX ILS 25L approach plate indicated hard altitudes for fixes inside of LUVYN while the FMC indicated AT or ABOVE at the same fixes.

Narrative: The FMC database shows all altitudes from LUVYN to HUNDA with an A after the altitude but the 25L ILS approach plate shows the same altitudes as hard altitudes without the above so I was following the VNAV PATH which kept me about 300 to 400 FT above the chart number so when I found the discrepancy near HUNDA I still don't know if I violated the altitudes since I don't know whether the FMC database or the 25L approach chart is correct.
