Runway awareness advisory system directly interfered with the clearance to taxi onto the runway. Clearance from tower was interfered with by the raas system. Poorly designed raas system. Had to re-verify clearance with tower. This poorly designed and unsafe system should be disabled and removed from the aircraft.
