Narrative:

On the takeoff roll I saw what I believed to be an aircraft crossing in front of us; we were at a slow enough speed to abort the takeoff to be on the cautious side. There is a note on the airport page that says there is an illusion of aircraft crossing the runway when they are actually on a taxiway beyond the end of the runway. I aborted the takeoff knowing this because of the size of the plane (airbus 330) crossing the runway looked closer than it actually did. The flight continued safely with no further actions. I believe that there still should be a callout to the pilots from the controllers stating this info despite the note on the airport page.
