Narrative:
On landing roll out; lowered flaps to shorten roll out. Gust of wind lifted right wing and plane rapidly exited runway onto grassy area. I think the flaps being lowered gave the plane more lift and added to the problem.

Title: Light sport aircraft pilot reported a runway excursion after extending additional flaps for additional drag during roll out.
