Narrative:
Upon touchdown the nose landing gear collapsed causing immediate aircraft nose contact with the runway surface. The aircraft skidded approximately 2600 ft and came to a stop just to the right of centerline. Four passengers and two pilots deplaned after emergency procedures were completed for evacuation and shutdown. No injuries were noted and emergency personnel responded to the aircraft and passengers. During the arrival phase of the flight; the autopilot and manual trim were found to be malfunctioning and the aircraft was hand flown to landing. No adverse flight characteristics were noted and the ILS was flown in a stabilized manner with airspeed decreasing as flaps and gear were deployed. Touchdown occurred at vref speed plus seven KTS in a quartering tailwind of seven KTS. Aircraft controllability and performance were adjudged by the pilot flying and discussed with the pilot not flying at each configuration change. I noted no abnormal aircraft performance during this phase of flight and there were no abnormal warning indications in the cockpit prior to the nose gear touchdown and collapse.
