Narrative:
During approach I called flight attendant X to the front cabin because I thought I smelt a strange odor. We contacted the flight deck to inform them and looked for any signs of the smell by sight and touch. Upon landing I saw black smoke coming from the front galley coffee maker. I then got out of my jumpseat and turned off the galley master switch and then contacted the flight deck in the pilot emergency mode that we had smoke in the cabin; and needed to evacuate. When plane was then stopped and the captain announced standby standby. We then gave the commands to the passengers for the evacuation; opened then pulled the slides on the L1 and L2 doors. Passengers were then sent down the slide and directed away from the aircraft and taken by ground personnel to stairs by a gate. Once all the passengers were off flight attendant X and I then went down the slide and went away from the plane and met the first officer. Once the captain made sure the plane was empty he then went down the slide and met us away from the plane. We then gave the captain and the first officer our details and observances of the smoke and the evacuation.
