Narrative:
Left VFR; alternator failed. Weather deteriorated; lost communication capability; although the weather download and terrain info on the garmin 396 continued to work. Due to rain and low ceilings; we touched the airspace near two airports without clearance. Could not turn back and could not talk or deviate safely any other way.
Original NASA ASRS Text
