Narrative:
During takeoff roll; a low speed abort was accomplished at 60 KTS. The abort was in response to an ECAM warning for 'engine 2 compressor vane.' we were instructed to make an 180 degree turn on the runway and exit. Once in the pad; we stopped and called dispatch and maintenance. We were then instructed to return to the gate; which we did. No compressor stalls or other abnormal indications were noted. Aircraft was turned over to maintenance.
