Narrative:
After descending to FL050. I noticed the amber eis annunciator flashing. The bottom half of the eis was intermittently failing. At one point the battery showed a 26-amp discharge while the gen 1 showed positive indications. Several times the prop RPM indications dipped down to 300 and then resumed to 1700 RPM. Fuel flow indications were missing; as well as engine oil temp and engine oil pressure. Requested priority handling from approach control; they then treated it as an emergency.
