Narrative:
Maintenance is once again completely blowing off dim crts. I saw a copy of a maintenance tip publication lately and they say to use a specific testing device as advised by airbus. I have never seen that equipment used and most screens are signed off without a concrete standard. I would strongly recommend the fleet put the airbus memo out in the company safety publication and I think the FAA should take a look at this. I know I am still one of the few complaining; but complacency runs deep everywhere at our company.
