Narrative:
On approach; we experienced a very bad odor/fumes through approximately 7000 ft. It continued even on the ground with the APU supplying air to the air conditioning packs. Many of us experienced dizziness and lightheadedness. I also had a very bad taste in my mouth. The smell was that of dirty socks combined with synthetic oil. Many passengers and the entire crew reported the same. I went on 100% O2 on the ground and turned off the air-conditioning packs. I wrote up the fumes smell in the logbook and took the entire crew to the hotel where I kept an eye on them. They did not desire to go to the hospital and they were felling better after getting out of the aircraft. We need to keep an eye on the airbus fleet as this seems to be a recurring problem.
