Narrative:
The crew completed all pre-flight duties and checklists prior to the main cabin door being closed. The PIC requested to the first officer; 'below the line' on the before start checklist. All items were completed including; 'windows and doors- closed/armed.' all indications on the ECAM display unit appeared normal- including all doors being armed. After completing all tasks and checklists; the flight pushed back and departed without any abnormalities. Approximately three hours after arrival at destination the PIC was contacted by the chief pilot. The chief pilot informed the PIC that the aircraft was returned to the gate by a different flight crew departing because of an abnormal indication in the ECAM display unit: both of the over wing emergency exits were not showing armed. After further investigation it was determined that over night maintenance was preformed on the over wing exits prior to my flight's departure earlier that day.
