Narrative:
After takeoff runway 27; departure asked which SID we were given. We checked our on board printed copy which showed only a revised route but no SID. Later in flight we checked the mcdu and noticed the printer had failed to print the entire remarks section of the clearance; which controlled the SID.

Title: An EMB190 crew departed without a SID programmed in the FMS. After ATC questioned the crew about their routing they discovered that the ACARS printer malfunctioned and did not print the entire flight plan; including the SID; contained in the MCDU.
Narrative: After takeoff Runway 27; departure asked which SID we were given. We checked our on board printed copy which showed only a revised route but no SID.
