Narrative:
Well controlled landing on a mountain range down-sloping runway with 12 knot crosswind. Flare resulted in long glide with touchdown and go around. Touchdown was on nosewheel and thus resulted in a prop strike. If done over would land uphill which is what was ultimately done without difficulty; even with injured prop and nosewheel.

Title: SR22 pilot reports prop strike and nose wheel damage during attempted landing on Runway 16 at SGU. After go around second attempt is successful on Runway 34.
