Narrative:

Mco radar OTS. Using multi-mode radar. B737 was landing mco. Never left my airspace. Departure controller was using a 'climb box' through arrival airspace. Departure controller did not protect for 5 miles separation on multi-mode; and climbed C525 closest proximity was shown as 4.7 miles and 1000' ft. The B737 was hdg 360 at 9000'. The C525 was heading 120 at 8000' and 4.7 miles southeast of B737. C525 started climb at that point.

Title: MCO TRACON controller witnessed loss of separation event when adjacent sector failed to note the required separation given the fact multi-mode RADAR equipment was being utilized.
