Narrative:

Departing from teb on teb 6 departure from runway 24. I filed flight plan and was acting as first officer from the right seat. Pilot in command admits that varying from departure procedure was his error. He did not start turn from 240 degrees heading to published 280 degree heading soon enough and also may have varied from the published altitude by 100 ft. Corrective action was taken quickly when I called it to his attention.
