Narrative:
At 13000 msl we got an ECAM indicating the left over wing emergency exit ajar.....max altitude 10;000 msl. We advised ATC and they cleared us to 10;000 msl. We requested clearance back to ZZZ and advised dispatch and ZZZ station ops. We did not declare an emergency or request special handling. We landed ZZZ and returned to gate for repairs without incident.
