Narrative:
During flight the advisory EICAS message for low hydraulic quantity number 1 system activated. Quantity continued to decrease until reading zero and advisory message for edp (engine driven pump) failure activated. Consulted quick reference handbook (QRH) and discussed options with first officer. Elected to continue flight to airport X based on weather at departure and choice of diversion airports enroute. Number one system remained on line until touchdown at airport X when numerous system failures activated on landing rollout. As previously discussed we taxied to gate without incident.
